Vehicle Technician – Oldbury
£36,465 – £38,896 Basic Salary | Overtime at 1.25x | Monday to Friday | No Weekends
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm – 42.5 hours per week

Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a varied commercial vehicle fleet
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Working across a range of different makes and models
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Ensuring vehicles meet required safety and quality standards
- Completing preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Accurately recording completed work
- Working closely with other technicians and workshop colleagues
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with workshop procedures
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Experience working on LCVs
- Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Proactive and organised approach to workload
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team
- Full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence
