MOT Tester role with 2 years’ experience, for the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, working on a wide range of vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities. Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
Location: Christchurch
Pay / salary: £38,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE £41,600+
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm, Saturdays on a rota

MOT Tester Requirements:
- Valid DVSA MOT Tester licence with current testing status
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent; alternatively, Level 2 Technician/Mechanic qualification with at least 3 years' experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties
MOT Tester role:
- Carrying out Class 4 MOT inspections in line with current DVSA standards and regulations
- Identifying and accurately recording vehicle defects and advising on required repairs
- Ensuring all MOT documentation and testing procedures are completed correctly and compliantly
- Carrying out routine servicing, vehicle health checks, maintenance, and mechanical repairs when required
- Utilising the latest specialized diagnostic technology to identify, test, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring vehicles meet all road safety standards
