Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: This position covers Northampton and the immediate surrounding area.

Salary: £35,000 basic, with time and a half overtime rate. Yearly earnings tend to average between £43,000 - £53,000, ultimately it's dependent on how much overtime you want to do.

Hours: 40 hours rota'd across Monday to Sunday. Earliest start time of 6am, latest finish time of 12am with a mandatory 12-hour rest period between shifts which are set for the whole year in advance.

Mobile Vehicle Technician role:

• Working closely with the breakdown team you will be tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues they have.
• Working on the vehicles to ideally get them back on the road, otherwise making sure the vehicle goes back to the workshop.
• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle's issues.
• Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics.
• Mobile Vehicle Technicians / Roadside Technicians are the face of the business, so it's important you deliver exceptional customer service.

Mobile Vehicle Technician requirements:

• You will be qualified with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, but this is not essential.
• At minimum, you must be Level 2 qualified to be considered for this position.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
