Fast Fit Technician role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety and excellent customer service. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a strong salary package, bonus potential and excellent training and career development benefits.

Must have a full UK driving licence.

Location: Kettering

Pay / salary: Up to £32,000 basic per annum plus bonus

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Saturdays: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm or up to 4:00 pm (usually worked on an alternating rota basis)

Skills and experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent automotive qualification
  • Proven hands-on fast-fit centre experience working across a range of vehicle makes and models

Job Responsibilities for the Fast Fit Technician role:

  • Perform accurate tyre inspections, standard tyre fitting, puncture repairs and wheel balancing.
  • Carry out mechanical replacements and repairs on brakes, exhausts, batteries and suspension components.
  • Complete wheel tracking adjustments and alignment setups on passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct fluid changes, filter replacements and standard routine vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Ensure customer vehicles remain free from grease, dirt or workshop marks, while maintaining an organised and safe bay environment.
  • Maintain detailed job documentation in line with health, safety and company administrative procedures.
