Hours: 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30-12:00 paid as overtime.

Basic salary: up to £45,000 (£60,000 OTE).

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LCV Technician to join our clients main dealership in Sevenoaks. The successful LCV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

LCV Technician Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
LCV Technician Requirements:
  • You will need to be an apprentice trained Vehicle Technician ideally from a main dealership background.
  • Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • An MOT qualification would be a huge bonus.
  • You will take great pride in your work.
  • You will have incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot.
  • You will need a full valid UK driving licence.
  • A stocked toolbox that you can use for work.
