Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role for a Level 3 qualified Technician, or a Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with at least 3 years' experience, working with one of the UK's leading automotive groups on a wide range of vehicles.

Skills and experience

- Hands-on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.
- Job responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician role
- Carry out comprehensive vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component updates, in line with manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across braking, steering, suspension, and basic engine systems.
- Complete thorough Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (e VHCs) to identify and record any work required.
- Record accurate technical findings and parts requirements clearly on digital job cards.
- Complete standard warranty repairs in line with factory protocols and agreed timeframes.
- Maintain high levels of workshop productivity to meet individual efficiency and first-time fix targets.
