HGV Technician required for a modern workshop maintaining and repairing HGVs, commercial vehicles and specialist fleet vehicles.
Full training provided, £1,500 joining bonus, manufacturer development and HGV licence training available.
Must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence; Category C and Category CE licence would be advantageous.
Location: Southampton
Pay / salary: £44,445 basic per annum, OTE £50,000 with overtime and bonus opportunities.
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: Flexible start and finish times between 7:00am and 6:00pm, no Saturdays (available as OT).

Skills and experience:
- Relevant HGV, heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or proven workshop experience in a similar role
- Experience with service, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a busy workshop team
- Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for HGV workshop duties
- HGV, LGV or PCV licence would be advantageous
Job Responsibilities for the HGV Technician role:
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and technical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing repairs to manufacturer standards across HGV and commercial vehicle systems
- Supporting breakdown, roadside or rota requirements where applicable and maintaining high levels of customer service
