Salary: £55,000 plus bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:0017:00 (40 hours)

Are you an experienced Workshop Manager looking to take the lead in a busy, high-performing commercial vehicle environment?

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee a large team of skilled technicians, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional service delivery and strong operational performance.

As the senior team member supporting the Dealerpoint Manager, the Workshop Manager will play a crucial role in managing the full customer journey from booking and planning, through quality control, to completion and invoicing. Youll take ownership of productivity targets, team morale, process compliance and the continued development of your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate workshop colleagues, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement
Oversee workflow, prioritising tasks and maintaining quality standards
Manage customer expectations and ensure timely, accurate invoicing and claim closure
Monitor productivity, efficiency and profitability
Report on workshop KPIs and contribute to budgeting and planning
Handle day-to-day employee relations matters
Support training and development across the technician team

Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a HGV Workshop Manager
Strong people-management and communication skills
Ability to identify training needs and drive performance improvement
Confident in customer-facing scenarios with strong problem-solving skills
Ideally qualified to Level 3 as an HGV Technician
