LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles.

Must have the right to work in the UK. A full UK driving licence is required.

Location: Aberdeen

Pay / salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, overtime opportunities and regular salary review

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday day shift, with overtime available when required

  • Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles

Job Responsibilities for the LCV Technician role:

  • Complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs within a workshop environment
  • Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy
  • Complete job records accurately, work closely with the workshop team and maintain high standards of workmanship
