Role Overview / Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, remove, fit and repair/replace tyres in line with industry standards, safely and to a high standard.
- Carry out tyre removal and refitting using lifts, ramps and tyre equipment/machinery in a safe working manner.
- Deliver excellent customer service, keeping customers and/or management informed of any additional issues found.
- Follow internal controls and company procedures, ensuring accurate paperwork/job cards and compliance at all times.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, remaining calm under pressure and supporting a positive workshop culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter gained through employment and/or apprenticeship.
- Training / qualifications (e.g., IMI/City & Guilds/apprenticeship)
- Competent in tyre inspection, removal/refit and repair/replacement to industry standards (including safe use of lifts/ramps).
- Strong focus on health & safety and high quality work output.
- Good understanding of English instructions with excellent customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
