Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for an opportunity to join a brand-new dealership from the very beginning? We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a newly opening main dealership in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a new workshop team, with strong earning potential, manufacturer training and genuine long-term career progression.

Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
- Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Carrying out electronic vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
- Accurately completing job cards and recording work undertaken
- Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workshop safety
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Main dealership or independent garage experience considered
- MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential
- Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
- Professional and team-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
