Overview
I’m currently supporting a well‑established automotive retailer in Chelmsford who are looking to add an experienced Tyre Technician to their workshop team. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of tyre fitting, maintenance and repair. You’ll be working in a busy workshop environment, managing your own workload and ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient service.
Key Duties
- Fitting and replacing tyres
- Wheel balancing
- Wheel alignment
- Puncture repairs
- Working with tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
- Managing daily job flow and maintaining high service standards
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Confidence using basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good verbal, written and numerical skills
