Location: Grays

Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5:30pm, 30 mins lunch

Salary: £38,000 Basic plus bonus and overtime OTE £55,000

We are seeking a qualified vehicle technician (Level 3 or equivalent) who is also eager to be fast tracked to their MOT Testing license to join a busy, modern workshop environment in Grays.

This is a fast-paced role where you will work as part of a supportive aftersales team, using your technical expertise on everything from routine servicing to complex diagnostic work. As a vehicle technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Your weekday role will include:

  • Completing scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer standards
  • Carrying out diagnostics to identify and resolve vehicle issues
  • Conducting electronic visual health checks with clear recommendations
  • Liaising with service advisors and customers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Continuing to develop your technical knowledge through training

What we're looking for:

  • Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence
  • Previous main dealer experience is essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
  • Willing to be fast tracked towards MOT testing qualifications
