We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and growing fleet operation in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-equipped workshop maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles. HGV Technician Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
  • Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • Communicate effectively regarding repair requirements and recommendations
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean, safe, and organised
  • Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques
HGV Technician Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work
