Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role for a Level 3 qualified Technician, or a Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with at least 3 years experience, working with one of the UKs leading automotive groups on a wide range of vehicles.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.

Location: Bristol

Salary: Β£40,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime, OTE Β£50,000 per annum

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Working hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent IMI / City & Guilds qualification).
  • Hands-on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.

Vehicle Technician Job role:

  • Carry out comprehensive vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component updates, in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across braking, steering, suspension, and basic engine systems.
  • Complete thorough Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs) to identify and record any work required.
  • Record accurate technical findings and parts requirements clearly on digital job cards.
  • Complete standard warranty repairs in line with factory protocols and agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain high levels of workshop productivity to meet individual efficiency and first-time fix targets.
