Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair, via pre-booked appointments, at customers' home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members. Must have right to work in the UK status.

Pay / salary: £40,170 OTE: Up to £52,000
Job type: Permanent / Full time role
Shift and schedule for the Mobile Technician role:
- Home based, working 40 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday to Saturday) 8am - 8pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional.

Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Technician role:
- Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customer selected locations e.g. driveway, office car park.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Payment handling through card transactions.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
What you'll need to be considered for the Mobile Technician role:
- Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
- The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
- A customer-focused approach.
- Must have a full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans.
