Salary: up to £26,750 basic OTE £29,250
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm, Saturdays mornings on a rota.
We are currently recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our client's successful and expanding team in Barnsley. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
- Locate and supply parts and accessories from stock or by placing orders with suppliers
- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records
- Ensure the parts department is well organised and clean at all times
- Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers
- Communicate effectively with workshop colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
- Regularly update the parts database with new stock and pricing
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role in the motor trade is preferred
- Main Dealer experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Organised, accurate, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
