Salary: £16,640 (with progression to £35,000+ basic, plus up to £20,000 bonus upon qualification)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 (40 hours per week, no weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Panel Beater to join our Toyota Bracknell Bodyshop, part of the Jemca Car Group. This is a fantastic entry-level role for someone who is genuinely interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career within the automotive industry. You will work alongside an experienced Panel Beater and a wider Bodyshop team, gaining hands-on experience while completing a 3-year training programme, with clear earning potential upon qualification. No experience required! Just a keen interest in the Automotive industry and a minimum level 3 in Maths and English, we will give full training and you will receive a Level 3 Qualification in Panel, Repair & Fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior technicians with panel repairs and replacements under supervision
  • Learn and apply manufacturer-approved repair processes and techniques
  • Ensure vehicles are properly protected throughout all repair stages
  • Prepare panels and vehicle parts for repair and refinish
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment
  • Follow all Health & Safety requirements and use PPE correctly
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude to learning and continuous improvement

What You’ll Need:

  • A genuine interest in the Automotive industry ideally within the Bodyshop
  • Minimum level 3 in Maths and English
  • Commitment to completing a 3-year apprenticeship programme
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • No previous experience required - full training provided
