Mobile Vehicle Technician Location: Swindon area
Salary: £35,000 basic, with overtime yearly earnings can be as high as £55,000
Hours: Varying shift patterns Monday to Sunday, 40 hours. Earliest start time 6am, latest finish time 12am. Lots of overtime available paid at time and a half.

- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Level 3‑qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent) preferred; Level 2 qualification considered if qualifications demonstrated.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
- A full UK driving licence – no more than 9 points or bans on the licence.
- Demonstrated technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
