Location: Swindon

Salary: £36,000 basic + £10,000 bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Day off in the week when working Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Centre Manager to join a well-established automotive fast-fit business in the Swindon area.

The Role:

As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong financial results, and smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll lead a team of 12 staff (10 productive), driving both performance and engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the daily operations of the centre to achieve business targets
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of technicians and front-of-house staff
  • Driving sales performance and maximising revenue opportunities
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Managing stock control, costs, and overall centre profitability
  • Monitoring performance and implementing improvements where needed

This aligns with the core focus of the role around customer excellence, financial performance, operational control, and people management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Centre Manager / Assistant Manager within a fast-fit or automotive environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven track record in a sales-driven environment
  • Good technical/mechanical understanding
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive performance
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
