Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Stourbridge
Looking for a Vehicle Technician role offering up to £36,000 basic, realistic earnings up to £45,000, paid overtime and strong technical progression?
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician in Stourbridge. Applicants must hold either a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant workshop experience, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.
Location: Stourbridge
Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
OTE: Up to £45,000 depending on experience and site performance
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus Saturday rota and approved overtime

- Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify repair requirements
- Replace parts, lubricants and consumables as required
- Complete electronic vehicle health checks
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards and repair documentation
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to support workshop efficiency
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds or equivalent, or
- Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant workshop experience
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician
- Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Own tools suitable for day-to-day workshop duties
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
