- Service Advisor Role As a Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Meeting and greeting customers and providing an excellent customer experience
- Keeping customers regularly updated while their vehicle is in the workshop
- Advising customers on warranty coverage
- Identifying and upselling additional work, parts and accessories
- Liaising with technicians and the wider Aftersales department
- Organising workshop appointments around workload and availability
- Managing a high volume of customers, telephone calls and online enquiries
- Advising customers on expected repair and turnaround times
- Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
- Updating dealership systems with bookings and customer information
- Explaining technical information clearly and professionally to customers
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident working within a busy dealership environment
- Ability to build rapport quickly with customers
- Commercially aware with confidence upselling additional products and services
- Strong organisation and administration skills
- Experience using Kerridge / ADP or similar dealer management systems would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy Aftersales team
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am–6:00pm, with one early finish per week
- Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm on a rota
