We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Senior Vehicle Technician or Workshop Supervisor looking to progress into a Technical Assistant Manager role. This is ideal for a strong Technician with good leadership skills who can allocate work, support other Technicians and help customers when required. Applicants must be an experienced Vehicle Technician, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
Location: Sheffield, S11
Salary: Β£36,000 basic salary plus bonus OTE: Β£42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am β 5:30pm (day off in the week), Saturday 8:30am to 4pm - 5 day working week

Role
- Allocate jobs and organise the daily workshop workload
- Support and guide Vehicle Technicians with technical issues
- Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics when required
- Complete quality checks and final vehicle inspections
- Help keep the workshop productive and running efficiently
- Support customers and front-of-house operations when needed
- Step up and support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or similar
- Strong all round technical ability
- Good leadership skills with the confidence to support other Technicians
- Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable dealing with customers when required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
