Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Guildford

Salary: £55,869 basic plus overtime (Paid at time and a half which is £35 per hour). Overall earnings can be as high as £61,000 depending on how much time you're willing to do.

Hours: This is a 40‑hour working week with the earliest start time 6 am and the latest finish time 2 am. Rota is posted 14 days prior to shifts and can change with up to 72 hours’ notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Level 3‑qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds or equivalent).
