Vehicle Technician Role & Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Repair and replace components, lubricants, and consumables as required.
- Accurately record all service and repair work.
- Work safely and professionally in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Identify additional work using an established vehicle health check process.
Requirements
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent such as City and Guilds in vehicle maintenance or IMI in Vehicle Maintenance.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- Committed to high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Holder of a full UK driving licence.
