Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role for an experienced Technician to join a growing fleet maintenance business, working on a fleet of approximately 360 commercial vans. Excellent basic salary, team bonus, overtime opportunities and the chance to play a key role in the future development of the workshop.

Salary: Up to Β£50,000 basic per annum plus team bonus and overtime

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, with optional weekend overtime

Vehicle Technician Benefits:

  • - Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles.
  • - Experience working on Ford, Volkswagen and Renault vehicles would be highly advantageous.
  • - Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification is desirable but not essential, with experience and technical ability considered more important.
  • - Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • - Comfortable working within a busy fleet maintenance environment.
  • - Full UK driving licence.

Vehicle Technician Job role:

  • - Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a fleet of approximately 360 commercial vans.
  • - Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
  • - Complete routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • - Maintain vehicles to a high standard while helping to minimise fleet downtime.
  • - Support the day-to-day operation of the workshop alongside the existing team.
  • - Assist with workshop planning and help maintain strong levels of productivity.
  • - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • - Play a key role in the future development of the workshop, including plans to introduce MOT testing.
