Are you a qualified accountant with strong commercial insight and a passion for driving financial performance? Jemca Car Group is seeking a Market Area Accountant to support our Toyota Bracknell and Reading sites. This is a key leadership finance role with responsibility for accurate management reporting, forecasting, and business partnering with operational teams.

What You’ll Do:
– Prepare and present monthly management accounts to strict deadlines (within 3 working days of month end)
– Deliver robust forecasts, variance analysis, and key performance commentary to operational management
– Oversee vehicle and parts stock checks (monthly and biannual) and ensure accuracy of records
– Work closely with the General Managers and Heads of Business as a trusted finance partner
– Lead and manage an accounts team including an Accounts Supervisor and junior team members
– Respond to finance queries from internal stakeholders across both sites
– Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
– Support budget planning and strategic reviews for both Bracknell and Reading operations
What We’re Looking For:
– Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
– Proven experience in management accounting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
– Strong communication and business partnering skills – able to influence and support non-finance managers
– Experience overseeing audits, stock checks, and ensuring financial accuracy
– Commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
– Automotive industry experience is strongly preferred
– Comfortable working across multiple sites with some travel between locations
– Not suitable for newly qualified or practice-only candidates – must be commercially experienced
– A confident team leader able to manage and support a small accounts team
