This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients workshop based in Cheltenham. They are part of a nationwide company with a fantastic reputation for progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Vehicle Technicians to perform service maintenance and repairs
- Conduct safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed
- Replenish consumables as requested by technicians or the Service Manager
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with guidelines
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding the high standards of a main dealership
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or higher
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a vehicle technician
- Competence using modern diagnostic equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
