About the Role:
As an MOT Tester at our Aberystwyth location, you'll play a vital role in ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards, providing accurate inspections, and performing general servicing and repairs. Your expertise will contribute to road safety and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid MOT licence
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
- Proven experience in MOT testing and vehicle diagnostics
- Knowledge of automotive servicing, brakes, exhausts, and wheel alignment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in automotive repairs
- Experience with tyre fitting or mechanical work
- Customer service skills for engaging with clients
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a similar MOT testing role
- Relevant vocational training or certification in vehicle maintenance
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work within the centre’s hours: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am–4:00pm
- Ability to reliably travel to the Aberystwyth location at Glanyrafon Industrial Estate
