Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician

Location: Slough

Salary: £43,625 basic (Including £5,000 London Weighting Allowance if applicable) per annum, plus bonus and overtime, OTE £52,000

Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturday\’s

This Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician role is with one of the UK’s leading vehicle breakdown companies, providing a first-class service to thousands of customers. Role responsibilities:

  • Attending breakdowns to diagnose issues and either repair on site or arrange vehicle return to workshop
  • Identifying problems and advising customers
  • Vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical diagnostics
  • Delivering exceptional customer service as the face of the business

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred, but Level 2 or equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI, or NVQ are acceptable (must show qualifications)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a workshop or mobile role
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans
  • Technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
