Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Taunton
Salary: £38,625 Basic (OTE £50,000) + Overtime (1.5x) / A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385 + Company Van
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30, with 1 in 4 Saturdays – 40 hours per week

This Mobile Vehicle Mechanic is working for one of the UK’s leading vehicle breakdown companies who provide a first-class service to thousands of customers. Responsibilities
- Attend breakdowns with the breakdown team, diagnose issues, and work on vehicles to restore mobility or return them to the workshop as needed.
- Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
- Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical work and diagnostics.
- Provide exceptional customer service as a Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician, representing the business positively.
Requirements
- Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered (equivalents acceptable: City and Guilds, IMI, NVQ). Must be able to show qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
- Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
