Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician – Location: Hampstead. Salary: £43,625 basic per annum, OTE £55,000 with overtime at 1.5x; a guaranteed overtime option can increase your base salary by £5,000 per annum. Hours: 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays. Ref - 26819.

Role responsibilities

  • Work closely with the breakdown team to attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and get the vehicle back on the road where possible, or return it to the workshop.
  • Identify problems and advise the customer on the vehicle’s issues.
  • Perform servicing and general maintenance including electrical work and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as the face of the business.

Requirements

  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 can be considered. Open to equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds Vehicle Maintenance, IMI, or NVQ. Must be able to show qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
