Hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch); Saturday 08:30–16:00 (on rota, 1 in 4 weekends)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our successful dealership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service, and building long-term relationships with customers. As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between the customer and the workshop, ensuring all service and repair work is communicated clearly, efficiently, and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers professionally and act as their main point of contact throughout the service process.
- Accurately book vehicles in for service and repair work, ensuring workshop schedules run smoothly.
- Provide clear explanations of service and repair requirements, costs, and estimated completion times.
- Liaise with technicians and parts departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle history.
- Upsell additional products or services where appropriate to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure every customer leaves fully satisfied with the service provided.
About You
To be successful in this Service Advisor role, you must have:
- Proven Service Advisor experience within a franchised dealership or reputable independent garage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- A proactive, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Candidates from non-automotive sales roles will not be considered for this position — Service Advisor experience within the motor trade is essential.
