Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements
- Preferably hold Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, though not essential
- Must hold Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and have at least two years of full‑time professional experience
- Full UK driving licence
