We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a leading commercial fleet operation covering the Chelmsford area. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently while maintaining a variety of commercial vehicles both on-site and in the workshop.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of light commercial vehicles
  • Work on leading brands including Mercedes, Ford and Iveco
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Attend customer sites as part of a mobile service operation while supporting workshop activities when required
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to keep fleet downtime to a minimum

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working on LCVs and/or HGVs
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK, Irish or EU Manual Driving Licence
