We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join a fleet workshop in Barking. Applicants must either hold a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' employment as a Technician/Mechanic, or be fully qualified to Level 3, with strong servicing, repair and diagnostic experience and the right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and vans
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults
- Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs
- Complete mechanical repairs safely and efficiently
- Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across all repairs
- Work closely with the workshop team to maximise fleet availability
- Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' employment as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician
- Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair experience
- Good vehicle diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working across a varied car and van fleet
- Strong focus on safety, quality and vehicle compliance
- Reliable and able to work effectively within a workshop team
- Right to work in the UK
The position offers strong technical development through an IMI-accredited training department, including opportunities to develop skills in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, electrics, braking systems and other specialist areas.
