Vehicle Technician - Ruislip

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy dealership workshop in Ruislip. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have relevant workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details

  • Location: Ruislip
  • Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus
  • OTE: £45,000
  • Hours: Monday-Friday - no weekend working

Vehicle Technician Role

  • Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Complete maintenance and mechanical repairs
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and identify appropriate repairs
  • Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and report findings
  • Liaise with Service Advisors and customers when required
  • Complete all work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Undertake ongoing technical and manufacturer training

Vehicle Technician Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent - essential
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
  • Around 2 years' workshop experience is preferred
  • Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and ability to work to deadlines
  • Full UK Driving Licence - essential
  • Right to work in the UK
