Master Technician – Solihull

Looking for a Master Technician role offering £39,000–£45,000 basic, £55,000+ OTE, uncapped bonus and paid overtime?

We are recruiting for an experienced Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop in Solihull. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have strong advanced diagnostic experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Master Technician status or equivalent high-level accreditation is required.

Location: Solihull

Salary: £39,000 – £45,000 Basic

OTE: £55,000+

Bonus: Uncapped

Additional Pay: £125 per month uplift for MOT-qualified Technicians

Hours: Full Time | Paid overtime including Saturdays

Master Technician Role

  • Lead advanced diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Carry out complex repairs and technical work
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair work
  • Work closely with the Workshop Controller to maintain productivity
  • Complete accurate job cards and technical reports
  • Support workshop quality standards and other Technicians where required

Master Technician Requirements

  • Master Technician status or equivalent high-level technical accreditation
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Proven experience in advanced diagnostics and complex vehicle repairsPrevious experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Strong technical and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to support and mentor other workshop Technicians
  • MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Right to work in the UK
