We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester to join a busy main dealership in Farnborough. Applicants must hold a current MOT Tester Licence, possess a Level 2 qualification in Automotive Vehicle Servicing and Repair or equivalent, have previous automotive workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Salary: Basic £35,945 OTE £40,945
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm | 42.5 hours per weeke

MOT Tester Role
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
- Record inspection findings accurately and clearly.
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and used vehicle inspections.
- Complete light servicing and MOT-related repairs when required.
- Maintain MOT testing equipment and a clean, compliant testing area.
- Work closely with Vehicle Technicians and the Aftersales team to maintain workshop standards.
MOT Tester Requirements
- Current MOT Tester Licence.
- Level 2 qualification in Automotive Vehicle Servicing and Repair or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Tester within an automotive workshop.
- Good understanding of DVSA testing regulations.
- Previous franchised dealership experience is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
