New System Engineer job based in Southampton, Hampshire.

Due to continued growth, we have a brand-new opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a leading defence technology company based in Southampton. As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex technical systems from concept through to completion. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and customers, you’ll ensure all components are successfully integrated and meet the required specifications. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be involved across the full engineering lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Capture and manage customer and internal system requirements
  • Develop and oversee system architecture
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation
  • Act as the link between customers, project managers, and engineering teams
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and system configuration

About the Role:

  • STEM degree or equivalent experience
