We are currently recruiting for a Service/Commissioning Engineer based near Norwich with a growing engineering company that provides control and safety solutions for complex systems.

What You'll Do As A Service/Commissioning Engineer:

  • Test hardware for low-voltage control systems
  • Test software on Rockwell and Siemens platforms
  • Find and fix system faults
  • Prepare project documents and keep accurate records
  • Get equipment ready and document test results
  • Visit client sites for installation, testing, servicing, and commissioning (onshore and offshore)
  • Provide on-call support as part of a service rota
  • Work with clients during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Requirements For A Service/Commissioning Engineer:

  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, and databases
  • Experience commissioning industrial process, control, and safety systems
  • Knowledge of Rockwell (RSLogix 500/5000, FT View) and Siemens (S7, WinCC, TIA Portal) software, including troubleshooting and fixing problems
  • Willing to travel to client sites, onshore and offshore
