I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Quality & Compliance Systems Manager to join a well-established engineering organisation based in Weyhill, England. This is a senior-level opportunity for a proactive professional to take ownership of quality systems, compliance frameworks, Health & Safety oversight, and HR process support across the business.

This is a key job for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and leading internal and external audit programmes.

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering within a regulated or engineering environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience in internal and external auditing (Lead or Internal Auditor qualification desirable)
  • Strong understanding of CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods
  • Experience or awareness of Health & Safety management systems (desirable)
  • Ability to produce clear reports, procedures, and documentation
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, develop, and improve the ISO 9001:2015 QMS
  • Plan and lead internal and external audit programmes
  • Manage non-conformances, CAPA, and root cause investigations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Act as primary contact for customer complaints and supplier quality issues
  • Oversee Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
  • Support HR policy and process compliance in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all functions
