Experience and skills required for the Quality & Compliance Systems Manager job:
- Experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering within a regulated or engineering environment
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
- Experience in internal and external auditing (Lead or Internal Auditor qualification desirable)
- Strong understanding of CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods
- Experience or awareness of Health & Safety management systems (desirable)
- Ability to produce clear reports, procedures, and documentation
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
- Maintain, develop, and improve the ISO 9001:2015 QMS
- Plan and lead internal and external audit programmes
- Manage non-conformances, CAPA, and root cause investigations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Act as primary contact for customer complaints and supplier quality issues
- Oversee Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
- Support HR policy and process compliance in collaboration with senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all functions
