Key Responsibilities for CFD Analysis Engineer job:
- Perform CFD analysis and thermal design for motors, generators, and power electronic systems
- Develop and enhance CFD and thermal modelling tools as part of this job
- Carry out analytical and numerical simulations to evaluate temperature profiles and cooling strategies
- Use FEA and CFD tools as primary validation methods within this job
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test procedures and manufacturing instructions
- Support validation, testing, and qualification activities within the scope of this job
- Identify improvements in performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability
- Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and DFMEA activities as required in this job
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with thermal or aerodynamic content
- Experience in a similar CFD-focused job
- Advanced knowledge of FEA and CFD tools for thermal analysis
- Experience with electrical machines and/or power electronics
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability for modelling and analysis
