Business Development Manager – Power Supplies
UK-based (travel required)
This job is for a Business Development Manager focused on power supplies, working across rail and industrial markets. The job involves winning new business, managing key customer relationships, and driving growth in power electronics and MRO solutions.
You will focus on systems such as APUs, battery chargers, DC power supplies, and lifecycle upgrade programmes.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager job:
  • Develop new business in power supplies and MRO markets
  • Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, operators, and maintenance providers
  • Own the sales pipeline and forecasting for this job
  • Lead RFQs, bids, and commercial negotiations
  • Work with engineering and quality teams on technical proposals
  • Attend customer sites and industry events as part of the job
  • Deliver revenue and margin growth targets
Skills and experience required for the Business Development Manager job:
  • Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree)
  • Experience in technical sales or business development
  • Strong ability to sell technical solutions in a commercial job environment
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in rail, transport, or industrial power systems (desirable)
