NEW CNC SETTER OPERATOR JOB BASED IN WHITSTABLE, KENT.
A leading manufacturer of a range of interconnect applications for the military and aerospace industries, they are searching for a CNC Setter Operator to join their dynamic team based in Canterbury, Kent.
As a CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for setting and operating lathes to produce small to medium sized batches of components.
Additionally you will be overseeing the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of the machines and reporting any concerns or issues to the machine shop supervisor.
This is a part-time position working a 16 hour week on a weekly rotating shift of (Apply online only) & (Apply online only).
Duties as a CNC Setter Operator in Whitstable, Kent.
- Inspect work according to engineering drawings using various measuring equipment and report any quality defects.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Perform deburring, cleaning, final inspection and completion of all traceability documentation.
- Optimize efficiencies by reducing set-up and cycle times, as well as monitoring tool life.
Requirements as a CNC Setter Operator in Whitstable, Kent.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience operating CNC machine tools, particularly CNC lathes with a minimum of 4 axis.
