NEW ELECTRONICS TEST ENGINEER BASED IN ANDOVER.
Our client are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer (RF) to join our PCBA Engineering team. You will play a key role in testing and fault-finding across a wide range of RF-based PCBs, ensuring customer requirements are met with precision and quality. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, you will help drive improvements, support NPI activity, and contribute to our commitment to continuous innovation.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing of PCBs (primarily RF designs) to customer specifications using customer-supplied test equipment.
- Fault-find to component level on PCBs and determine effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Diagnose and repair test equipment-related issues.
- Support NPI activities, including test strategy development, verification of customer-supplied test equipment, and review/design of test fixtures.
- Create fault logs, analyse failure modes, and contribute to yield analysis and process improvement.
Requirements
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (minimum).
- Hands-on experience testing and evaluating RF or broadcasting electronic assemblies and equipment.
- Strong background in electronics hardware with the ability to fault-find to component level.
- Able to provide technical support to both customers and internal teams.
