We are looking for a DSP Engineer to join a highly technical team developing embedded measurement applications and working with cutting-edge wireless technologies. This is an exciting opportunity for a DSP Engineer with a strong background in digital communications, digital signal processing and wireless technologies to work across the full product lifecycle, from initial requirements through to product release and customer support.
The Role:
- Develop embedded measurement applications across a range of instruments
- Work with advanced digital signal processing and digital communication technologies
- Apply your knowledge of wireless standards to real-world products
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using C/C++
- Work with object-oriented programming and carry out debugging and software testing
- Use MATLAB as part of your day-to-day engineering work
- Work with version control and continuous system integration
- Contribute throughout the full product lifecycle, from requirements through to release
- Work independently when required while also collaborating as part of a wider engineering team
- Take ownership of technical challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement
About You:
- A degree in Electronic, Electrical, Communications Engineering or a similar discipline
- Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications
- Good knowledge of wireless standards
- Practical experience with C/C++
- Strong debugging and object-oriented programming skills
- Good experience with MATLAB
- Knowledge of Python would be advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
