To set up, prepare, run and monitor SMT production equipment in line with approved job documentation and standard working methods, so that assemblies are produced safely, correctly and efficiently. The SMT Operator is responsible for carrying out full job setup, supporting first-off verification, maintaining control of the line during production, and ensuring that materials, machine setup, traceability and process checks are completed properly. The role is expected to work within defined instructions and approved programmes, without making unauthorised programme or process changes.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out SMT job setup from approved documentation, including works order, header file, magazine kit, machine job selection, feeder loading, printer setup, stencil loading, board support setup and conveyor setup.
