An engineering manufacturer based in Sheffield is looking for a Junior Production Engineer to join its friendly production team. This role is ideal for someone starting out in engineering or manufacturing, with full training provided. A genuine interest in production or engineering through studies, hobbies, or practical projects is essential.
The Junior Production Engineer will support daily production activities, building and testing electronic instruments. The role includes visual inspection of PCBs, component-level fault finding, and supporting quality and documentation processes. The Junior Production Engineer will also assist the Service and R&D teams and occasionally collect and deliver parts from suppliers using a company vehicle.
