NEW SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER IN ANDOVER
Our client based in Andover, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex PCBA\’s for a range of industries like automotive, industrial and medical.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process design, development, and introduction activities for our Power Electronics and Microelectronics products. This is a key technical leadership role within our Engineering team – responsible for optimising processes, improving product quality, and driving continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
Job Requirements
- Lead early-stage process development alongside Product Development teams using PFMEA and Design for Manufacture (DfM) principles.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Process Engineers, allocating resources and supporting development.
- Drive quality, process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Lead root cause investigations using 8D and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, customers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and achieve business objectives.
Requirements as a Senior Process Engineer in Andover
- Degree (2:1 or above) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience developing and optimising complex manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of 3D CAD for jigs, fixtures and test equipment design.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards (IPC familiarity desirable).
